Perfect

Highly Underrated Cult Game

I can't really add anything to review, that hasn't already been said. One of the very few games, that even with 5 alternate endings, IT NEVER ENDS WELL!

My only thing to include is that the protagonist's name is Caim, not "Kyme", like GameFly's description seems to think.

Drakengard is amazing! That's the gist of how to describe it. You are Caim a man who traded his voice for his life in a pact with a dying dragon to seek revenge on the empire. I played the 2nd game before this one and yes the melee combo's are better but the magic of Drakengard 2 is nothing to the first and as you level up the weapons the magic gets stronger along with the weapon. One sad thing is you have a time limit on the other characters and can only have one with you at a time unlike the second game where you can be one of the other characters for the entire level and switch between all four characters. And this game has five endings instead of just three like the second game, and you have to meet certain requirements to see each ending instead of just playing the game over to see each ending. With that said I highly recommend this game and urge you to play it.

Square Dynasty Warriors?

If you are into the Dynasty Warriors series, then this game is for you. It's real fun at first but quickly becomes the same mundane tasks over and over again with a decent sized arsenal of weapons that you will only use 2 or 3 of them. But if that sounds like "awesome" to you, i'm sending it back now :)
