Next generation fighting!!!

For me, this was a whole new experience when it comes to fighting games. Not only are you dealing with a guy who eats Tekken for lunch, snacks on every Street Fighter version ever made, but also dreams about becoming his own Mortal Kombat character. I never played a Dragon Ball Z game, but let me tell you. This game is awesome!!

I gave it a 9 because I'm not that good at it yet. The controls were a little tuff to figure out,
and the movement was hard to keep up with.

The things I liked most about this game is the fighting system, the 2 player duel mode, and the number of characters you could fight with. I recommend this game to anyone who likes to duke it out with your boys over a night of severe butt-kickin' action.

This game is the SH.. seriously Its better than the last one. It seems like they combined all of the previous games into one and the fights are faster than before. Kind of hard to unlock all the characters but you still start out with plenty anyway.

This is a very good game. The best combination of everything good from all the previous DBZ including before it became Tenkaichi. The speed is great way faster than the previous installments. Competitive matches with the CPU. The History mode improves on telling the story with in game dialog, and beating the characters the way it was done in the cartoon show. the sheer amount of characters is a plus on its own. The bad part of the game is that the movie intro is horrible compared to the first one done for Tenkaichi 1. I don't understand why the intro for part one was not continued throughout the rest of the series. Shiny character models do not mean good graphics. The character models in Tenkaichi 3's opening are shiny, very stiff and rigid, plus there is no real direction. they just put in 3 characters from each side. The Tenkaichi 1 opening was beautiful and had great direction. The characters were not shiny, it was a great transition from 2-D to 3-D. the impact of the characters was amazing. When they hit one another you felt it(the way it should be). The History mode drops the ball a bit. Yes you have to defeat characters the way you did in the show and the in game dialog is a great touch.WE still miss parts such as Goku holding Raditz so Piccalo can hit him with the special beam cannon. Or Vegeta actually killing Nappa. The biggest disappointment is the fact they this game is still on PS2 when it should have been on PS3. I know these little things are not that big of an issue but I look at the whole game from the packaged art to the actual game. Over all it is still great hence my score of 9 outta 10. Can not wait for the next gen version of this game.
