First off I love and have always loved DBZ. And it wasnt until Tenkaichi that I really got into the games. I had played budokai 2 and 3 and thought that they were good but never great, they just werent fun. But then Tenkaichi came out...That game finally made you feel like you were in the actual fights with an over the shoulder camera view and a simplified control scheme and a load of characters. I played Ten and beat it within a day and played it over and over and over again loving every second. Fast forward to Ten 2 a game that essentially is identical to Ten in every way except the expanded fighter roster and expanded environments, OH YEAH IT'S HARD, The AI is punishingly brutal and will exploit every opening making some Story battles impassable. Ten2 presents you with three difficulty fulcrums however even the easiest difficulty level proved challenging. I consider myself a recreational gamer and I am not willing to spend three hours of my life trying to kill the same great ape Vegeta over and over again. This is amplified by the fact that occasionally you will be expected to defeat a super villain with some of the weakest characters like say Yajirobe vs APE VEGETA. This sort of difficulty standard killed this game for me. Next time I would expect more flexable difficulty controls for those of us not dedicated to staying up till midnight trying to kill final form Frieza again and again and again and again and agai...............
Graphics-8
sound-7
gameplay-4
presentation-7(cartoonish menu's with repetitive dialogue killed this one)
controls-10(super responsive and simple)
Difficulty factor-excessively hard, some fights were stone walls ultimately hindering game progress(frieza vs Gohan is impossible)
rent or buy-rent if you are seriously dedicated.
