This game seems terrible. The difference in flight, altitude seems pointless. There's zero reason to fly and it just causes problems rather than adds a level of complexity. In the demo you could not be normal goku and "transform" which was always an important aspect of the dragon ball games imho. The need to start out as normal and power up to super saiyan after super saiayn is not only fun but important and adds levels of strategy to try and build up that ki. (freiza aswell, my favorite character to use.) I felt the combat was broken, blocking never worked and most times I was beaten so intensely i wasnt given a chance to mount my own offensive.
I will always support the 2D budokai's of the PS2 era, especially budokai 3. If ultimate tenkaichi learns from the successful gameplay of naruto ultimate ninja storm 2, which does 3d anime style fighting correctly.. than ultimate tenkaichi will surely be good.. All DBZ games since Budokai 3 (not tenkaichi) have been unspectacular..
