First of i d like to say Bioware you did it once again. You bypassed the expectations i set for you. Now on to the review.
Story - This game has one of the greatest RPG storys i have ever seen. It is expansive and you choices do matter. I myself had one party member try to kill me and another leave my party. Most games give a short main story but this one took me a good 30 hours for the main story and another 15 for extra. And didn't even do it all. 10/10 for this great story involving action, drama, suspense, humor, and romance.
Combat - The combat system in Dragon Age was great but a little difficult to master. I had party members being stupid but yet they still saved my butt dozens of time. That fact that you can injure your own party with spells makes you use tactics. At the same time it make some battles nearly impossible on harder difficulty's. But all in all the combat gets 9/10 for the shear difficulty.
Loot - This actually sucked sorry to say. Boss's sometimes gave you loot that a minor enemy would give you. That's about it it gets a 7/10 because it didn't give LOTS of loot.
Characters - Every party member in this game a had a great back story conflicting personality's and some pretty funny habits. You cant customize your own character much but the armor and weapons add a nice touch. The characters in this game are even better the Mass Effect so they get a 10/10.
This game was my favorite RPG since Mass Effect and Elder Scrolls, and is one of the few RPG'S worth buying. So try it out you wont be disappointed.
