Good

Not as great as Dragon Age 1, but still great.

Dragon Age 2 has improved some mechanics and broke some other mechanics. Combat, in my opinion, is improved. Graphics have improved. It's just that at roleplaying, It fell that it fell a little. The conversation wheel that is introduce is a great idea, but it limits what you can say or do more than the original. Also, you will feel like you have been in the same cave or dungeon or house a thousand times, because they overuse all of the areas. So it's still great, just not as great as Dragon Age Origins.

Unplayable game... Freezes PS3 everytime!

Im so pi$$ed off right now, I've been waiting to play this game for a week and I can't even get it to load past the new game load screen without my whole PS3 freezing up and needing a hard reset. If you google it you'll see that this is apparently a problem so common on ps3 that this game has been unofficially deemed "unplayable" by PS gamers everywhere.

The better game vs the better story

Dragon Age II is an excellent game. Better graphics, better speech interactions, definitely a worthy sequel to the awesome Dragon Age: Origins. Where it falls short of the stars I gave it's predecessor is the classic which is the better game and which is the better story. DA2 is a vastly superior game in terms of graphics but the story of the Champion of Kirkwall just doesn't measure up to the superior tale of the Hero of Ferelden. Still any Dragon Age fan will find the game fun and the occasional allusions to the original will definitely at least throw a small bone to those who find themselves wondering what happened to everyone at the end of DA:Origins. Great game, lesser story, smaller stakes (save a city vs save the world) but still worth playing. I even bought it, so let that be my closing endorsement.
