Doom 3 for Xbox Reviews by Gamers

Yeah it is true, the graphics are pretty impressive, and the game is more horrifying than seeing your grandmother naked, but I just didn't get this game. I like games with challenges, not the repetitive pressing of one button. The game had literally no plot, and I found myself waiting until the game was over. If you want to play a game that leaves you wetting your pants and crying then this is the perfect game, if you love games like splinter cell that involve excessive thinking, then it definitely isn't. Another thing i dislike about this game is the fact you have no idea how much health a monster has, and you have no idea when the game is going to end. Beyond its graphical genius, this game will end up disappointing you, I expected more.

i had heard a lot of good things about this game and i had high expectations but i was pretty disappointed. the entire game is just the same thing over and over again. you expect something new at each new level but its the same looking area, small and dark, with the same creatures. sure its cool killing zombies with chainsaws and shotguns but after the 4th or 5th hour it gets kinda boring. i rated this game a 4 because of the constant repetitiveness.
