Prepare to return to Hell! Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil picks up two years after Doom 3, when one of your Marine buddies makes the mistake of touching a mysterious alien artifact. He reopens the doorway to Hell and paves the road for a bunch of the baddies living there. It's up to you to stop them and seal the door, permanently. New weapons and abilities keep the combat fresh. All-new multiplayer maps give new battlegrounds for online matches. Ultimate Doom, Doom II, and Master Levels for Doom II are included out-of-the-box, so you can see the evolution of a classic FPS all on one disc!

It's plain and simple if you liked the original you will like this. The game play is intense. I know that the way the portal to Satans stomping ground being re-opened was cheesy.
