the SNES classic comes to the GBA just as we all remembered it. the music is just the same and just as good as when we were turning on are SNES's and putting the cartridge in. the games graphics are the same as SNES and those graphics are very very good. this was the SNES's best Graphics game. the series is one of the best series in the history of Nintendo.
This is a serviceable remake of the classic "Donkey Kong Country", but I thought it lacked the charm and finesse of the original version. The graphics are more candy-colored, the music and sound effects have been tweaked, the controls aren't as tight, and there's a whole barrel full of new bells and whistles (fishing and dancing mini-games among them) packed in. The package is a fun and satisfying one for fans and newcomers alike, but...I don't know. For me, it was kind of like watching a colorized, 3-D version of "It's A Wonderful Life". Know what I mean? It just isn't the same "DKC" I grew up with.
If this is the only way you can experience "DKC", then, by all means, get this remake. However, if you're able to play the original version on Super NES or Wii Virtual Console, I recommend that instead.
