Donkey Kong Country Returns for Wii Reviews by Gamers

Donkey Kong Country Returns rings true to its name giving gamers the chance to return to the old age gaming that made Nintendo what it is today. While the game play is not as advanced as games on other consoles, with jumps, turns and tricks around every corner you won't have the time to notice. I must admit that many a balloon deflated as I trekked through nine levels of absolute fun and nostalgia but when you finally hold the bananas in your hand, in turn it was worth it all.

This game was awesome. Well, extremely challenging at times, but it was awesome fun. This game is everything that you loved about the old 2D scrolling donkey kongs, but better and upgraded. It was great listening to the old music and looking at the beautiful visuals. This game to me was one of the best looking (polished) games on the Wii I have ever seen. It is a must rent if you are an old school gamer.
