Now, I really didn't play much of the single player in this game, and to be honest, it's kinda hard to. You create the opposition in the game, determining their stats and such, so really, you can make it as easy as you want. However, playing it with a bunch of friends is one of the greatest things I have done with my DS.

You each create a character and walk around a board, killing monsters and gaining money. What's awesome about it is you can fight each other and steal their stuff. From money to even their name, anything can be taken from another character.

If you have a bunch of friends with DSes, get this game. You won't be disappointed.

Sorry about the bad review. I'm not really good at this.

This game plays similar to the parcheesi boards in the latest dragon warrior(quest) games. It's more complex, though. Some elements remind me of the Mario party games as well. Unlike the Mario party games, you have to land exactly on the store spot to spend your money. Make sure you use at least one attribute point for your HP at the start of the game or you'll probably die at your first stop. When you die your out of the game for about 3 turns. This board is pretty big with alot to explore. You can even choose to rob a town, though it might not be worth it if you don't need the money. Instead of mini games you usually enter a battle after landing on a space unless that space is an item or store space. If you like board games and RPGs this might be the game for you.

Great potential, in an oversized package

The game has lots of fun stuff. It's like a board game, where you upgrade a character, battle monsters, claim towns, and do missions. It's good, but not fantastic. The problem lays in scale; the map is huge, the missions too far apart, and it takes a while to deal with other people's turns.

I only played the single player story quest. It was lots of fun, but once it finished I was too tired of the game to explore other modes. Also, I can't imagine sitting to play this with friends; we don't have the kind of time required.

This game is definitely worth a rent, and some will love to buy it. the game is fun, and has great mechanics that I would love to see in a refined sequel. It's just too wide in scale to appreciate everything, like jelly spread over too much bread.
