I have some good things to say about this one,the dogs are almost realistic,they have a wider selection of dogs,and I think the contest was a great addition.I went to gamestop once to get the sequel,but I got Petz Dogz 2 which was completly different.Anyways,you should rent this game for kids,and if you see it in stores you should buy it.

I played this game a while ago and my belief is that you are better off getting Nintendogs. It's much better. Now Dogz is a good game for most people but if you've ever played Nintendogs it doesn't even compare. Ubisoft normally produces good games but this is not one of their best efforts. That is what I think.

The Dogz game is a great game for people of any age. Put onto the DS format from the GBA Dogz game. The touch screen makes the game much easier but if you played the GBA version the touch screen is pretty much useless. Some things were taken out and some were added. If you're an animal lover I recommend this game. I would also look for more of the petz games like catz, horsez, dogz fashion, and hamsterz life.
