Who the F--- is Corvo?!?

After beating this game in less than 48 hours, while watching every 'cutscene', skimming every book, and going out of my way for the runes and the useless bone charms, I can only ask myself one question: Who the f-ck is Corvo?

no I'm lying. I have A LOT of questions...

Why am I killing all of these people? Who are these people? Where in the hel| am I? What time period am I in? Who is the strange emo guy who keeps talking to me? Why do all the guards look alike? Since when did the plague turn people into zombies? Who in their right mind would want to bang Granny Rags?

The game's got potential. It just didn't have enough... umffff.

It's an interesting and unique world, with some of the best 1st Person melee combat gameplay I've experienced, but overall it left me wondering what happened and why it happened instead of making me crave more. 7/10 if you rent it. If you buy it, well I'm sorry.

Not worth a buy.

This game looked extremely appealing and had a great concept, although I feel they felt short polishing up this game. The Graphics are underworked and the story isn't all that engaging. Very limited side quests with two ending outcomes Good/Bad or High/Low chaos. Quite short only took me 12 hours to get everything on High chaos and only 10 hours on Low chaos. The gameplay is very fun but I don't feel as though it can make up for the other factors that drag this game down. I enjoyed playing it but I'm really glad I didn't buy this.

Great New IP, With Lots of Potential!

I'll admit I had basically zero interest in this game prior to its release. However, seeing the glowing critical reception it received, my curiosity was piqued, and I figured it was worth a rental. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Dishonored; it was one of the only games that I have played besides Splinter Cell Conviction to present viable options for both complete stealth and utter carnage. The sandbox style levels give you a terrific amount of choices in how you choose to go about your missions. On top off that, the powers that your character is gifted with are a blast to use - as are your uprgradeable weaponry. It seems like the developers took all of the best aspects of Bioshock, Deus Ex: HR, and Hitman: Blood Money, and molded them into one fun, cohesive package. It surprised me that a new IP would play more smoothly than some recent sequels - but this game was hands down better constructed then the aforementioned Deus Ex: HR. That said, the game is lacking any sort of New Game + feature; that's a bummer, because it would be great to be able to creatively replay the various levels while retaining your entire exciting arsenal. Regardless, Dishonored was a great rental, and I have high hopes for what this franchise will develop into in the future.
