I got Dishonored yesterday and Im COMPLETELY disinterested! They took ideas from my other favorite games , Mirrors edge, Skyrim, and some GTA IV and a little Assassin's Creed; Assassin's Creed not in 3rd person. Adding on, You do sneak around and kill people, I am shocked they didn't get a letter from Ubisoft! The Game itself is a Steam-punk Era ,(It looks like they took England and gave it a Futuristic look) that has some 1800's in it , so in plain English its a Old Futuristic game play (Very Odd but interesting). The story line is a plus , but has its Ups and Downs. Dishonored is a free-roam , so you can go anywhere you like. They have 3 paths of the game , Sewers( meet Weepers), Main road(meet guards and Thugs), and the roof tops(little to no people) . You want to spend more time evading the guards, but at the same time reach the goal. All in All... I just hate the fact of 4 Other games in one game. It makes it look Old, like you played it before!

I had high hopes for this game considering E3 made a big fuss about it. I got it on release day and i was thoroughly impressed with the gameplay. It was fun and let you control the style you wished to play, whether it be stealthy or total chaos behind a gun. The controls are just like any other first person action adventure. The dials for power ups are easier to handle than i was expecting. The game is a little short in my opinion, but has potential for replay. With the different level of chaos and choices of who to assassinate, i definitely would play through it again. Overall, i give this game an 8/10 for the unique gameplay, easy to use controls, and high replayability. Definitely worth the rent and would recommend this game to friends. I feel that this game will sadly get shadowed by both Halo 4 and Call of Duty. Don't let it happen! Rent it TODAY!
