This game is amazing its like skyrim and fable combined i loved the first 3 missions but it seems to get too repetitive its just sneak on roofs or ground and assasinate but im not talking assassins creed 3 i think its fun but the lasting appeal is awful but i like the diversity of the campaign fun game (TO RENT) i would not buy but it filled my weekend pretty good.

It was tedious and repetitive. The story was predictable. The entire experience was just plain mediocre. It had a lot of potential but honestly it didn't live up to it. Worth renting? yeah maybe. Definitely not worth buying.

Second best game of 2012!

In my opinion only Mass Effect 3 beat it in 2012 but then it had an unfair advantage of having a much larger universe from two previous installments. With that said Dishonored is a great game that is worth a play from any gamer. This game incorporates both stealth and some strategy in gameplay by allowing the player to either hack and slash or stealth their way to the intended target. However depending on whether you hack or stealth your way will effect the overall playthrough. Now when I first started playing this I was tempted to send it back soon because the initial start is a little difficult with having only a couple abilities and trying to learn just how much freedom you have at the beginning. But if you tough the first part out then you will be pleasantly surprised. While the graphics are on par with Half Life 2; the gameplay is excellent and the story is second to none. This game will make you wanting to come back for more. The only reason I could not give this game a 10 is because I personally require a game to have a multiplayer aspect to be perfect and because this game does not have a "New+" feature where you can carry over your previous abilities. The reason the New+ would be nice is because you can never get all the abilities in one playthrough due to the amount of Runes in a single play. Overall I give this game a 9 out 10 and highly recommend everyone at least play it once!
