I have been on the fence about getting this game for a few months but I went ahead and bought it besides my doubts.
I really didn't know what to expect from this game. But after playing it for a while it has a mix of assassins creed and bioshock. The world and story is very similar to bioshock but the stealthy side and brutal kills is a lot like assassins creed.
You will be asked to install the game to your harddrive which takes up 5 gb of storage. I installed it.
As soon as I started playing I was pretty shocked by how out dated the graphics are. This game uses unreal engine 3. That engine is over 4 years old. From a distance buildings look good but when you get up close its just flat and dull. Even characters just look old and bland. The lighting, water and sound are all great though.
Another thing I was pretty shocked by was how stupid the enemies are. When I was playing I chopped a guys head off and threw the head in front of a group of enemies and I got no response. They did nothing. They didn't acknowledge that I threw a guys head right in front of them nor tht I threw any thing in front of them. Another example is I killed a enemy maybe 2 feet behind a group of enemies and they didn't even notice. They are just dim witted enemies, and they have no combat skill at all.
Also there's only 5 weapons in the game. A sword, pistol, crossbow, grenades and spring razor. There's a good amount of supernatural powers though.

Gameplay is solid-
It's fun to play-
Supernatural powers-
Your can be stealthy or a brute killer-
Replay value(not for me, but others may enjoy replaying it)

Graphics are out dated-
Enemies are dumb-
Dull story line, at first I thought it would be intriguing but it's so flat and boring.
Only 9 missions long/Took me 10 Hours!
Not many weapons-
Adds nothing new that we haven't seen before-
Gets really hard later on-

Is the game good, yes but it's not a great game. Don't believe these reviews that praise this game a

Got this game thinking after I saw the trailer and gameplay that this game will be as good as Bioshock. Sadly I was wrong, it's not even close to the level of Bioshock. For your weapons, the sword is useless bcos they always block, the crossbow and gun and ineffective with only having about 10 shots each and ammo being scarce. Even on easy you will use a lot of health shots. This game gives you the choice of either being stealthy or a brutal all-out assassin. But the game heavly favors stealth and punishes you when your not. For me I like a game that gives you a choice of how you want to play, but when the game punishes you for being one way and rewarding you for being the other. What is the point for being the other if your punished for it? Overall I was slightly disappointed. Bioshock 1 and 2 are better games than Dishonered.
