Dishonored is a very fun game. The design of the powers and missions plus the graphics and design of the settings make it enjoyable to play as well as look at. The game is sort of short with only ten levels but there is an end game or set outcome to it (sort of) so that limits the length I suppose. The few side quests you can go on are entertaining. The designers did a good job of making your actions affect the outcome of the game, so if you want to slash up everyone or keep the body count low things are going to work out differently. This fact alone means you will need to replay the game at least once to see how the endings differ. I would call this game sort of a first person Assassins Creed only shorter. I'm sort of a trophy hound also so I enjoyed the mix of easy & difficult trophies. All in all I really enjoyed this game.

Everything here works well. And the game is very fun. But it did not come anywhere close to living up to the hype it received. The campaign is dismally short. Still very much worth playing though as a rental, but not a purchase.

It's deceptively preachy. SPOILER - the endings are dependent upon how many you kill and they don't pay off that well either way. I didn't even kill that many, but still got the high chaos. I think I went a little too crazy in the first mission and there was no recovering from it. It should be more clear from the onset that stealth is preferred. I read someone say this was the best game this year. NO WAY. Transformers, Spiderman, and Mass Effect were all better in my opinion. This is a forgettable title as far as I am concerned.
