With a story like this its easy to see all of the good. The game is beautiful from the ground up. The plot is engaging, face paced, and keeps you thinking. The game itself is fantastically open ended allowing for a variety of solutions to any given problem being on the table.
That all said, the one thing that I really didn't think was all that great was the powers selection wheel that you use to equip weapons, traps, or magic. When you've got enemies swamping you on all sides it takes away from the pace to open that wheel, find what you want and then get back to playing. Apart from that it is easily one of the best games I've played in awhile.
Dishonored was a great game to play. Once I got involved in the story a little I realized that you can choose the actions that you take and that the game will react differently to those choices. I actually went back and played the entire game a second time with different choices to see which changes would be made. I was not disappointed. Rent this game!
