Very Good

A decent game, a great rental

I thought this game was good. Like the story, I mean its not anything new or spectacular but solid. The graphic are fine, don't expect COD. I feel it is unfair to compare all first-person shooter games to any COD series. The graphics stand on their own merits. The parts of the game I really had fun in was the stealth, the weapons, the rpg like growth of your character. I really enjoy first person rpg's. This game reminds me of Elder scrolls without the open world. Fans of Bethesda games are going to enjoy this game.

Good

Average game or unrealistic expectations?

This was an ok game, maybe even a good game. But definitely not a great game and certainly not the kind of awesome game you expect to come from Bethesda which brought us Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas and Skyrim which may be the best games ever released for PS3, probably pretty high up on Xbox's list too. So that's why I expected awesome and when I got what I got, I was let down in a big way. Anyone who expects the kind of excellence we are used to seeing from Bethesda, prepare yourself for a big letdown too. The game's storyline is cool, the graphics are excellent, controls are good, no real bugs, but the missions are repetitive and if you're not a big fan of sneaking missions, this game is one big sneaking mission from beginning to end. Plus there are some bad guys called tallboys later in the game who are impossible to sneak past and impossible to bring down making the accomplishment for not setting off any alarms, well, impossible. I expect better, no I demand better from the people who brought us Fallout and Skyrim. This could have and should have been better. Had it not come from Bethesda, would the review be better, probably, it would still be a flawed game, but it would have the cover of not coming from perhaps the best game studio in the business.
