Dirt 3 for Xbox 360 Reviews by Gamers

From the get go you have options and a great training level for the chaos to come whether its you against the clock or a bunch of buggies goin at it for a bunch of laps or the hoonin' on the gymkana courses this game keeps you both going fast and goin sideways all day long. The AI can be a bit tough and when you turn off the assists it can get stressful but it is always fun and very adicting. Dirt games have always had great in car camera views and 3 lives up to its siblings mark. It is hard to put down and when you do you just want to jump back in.
I have been a hardcore racing game player for about 20 years now and have played almost every racing game and as somebody who primarily loves a great track based sim style racer the dirt games have always scratched an itch of had with the joys of controlled sliding chaos. Dirt 3 has no flaws in my opinion,the visuals from the landscaping,to the tracks,the cars detail even down to the liveries,the car sounds,it has it all and it does it all to perfection. I would recomend they do not even make another Dirt(Dirt 4,not counting Showdown),because it is going to be very hard to do better than this until the next gen systems are out. This is the mold racing games that fall short should look into and emulate. This is a racing game for the beginner to the almost pro,the games only lack is customizing,from looks to detailed setups the game leans to the arcade more than sim in this aspect but the driving and racing is so fun and flows so well I actually thing it works better without the over the top sim style control. So,buy this game at any price,if you like driving,you NEED this game!
