Digital Devil Saga 2 for PlayStation 2 Reviews by Gamers

Though no playable version of Shin Megami Tensei: DDS 2 was playable, a brief trailer was shown. An animated cinematic showed a hooded figure drifting through a deserted, destroyed city. He moved among citizens that had been turned to stone until he came upon one frozen citizen with a gun in its mouth. Suddenly, the character is assaulted by human sized robots, which he quickly and stylistically dispatches after snatching the gun from the stone citizen. The final robot is destroyed after the hooded man morphed into a monster like creature and tore him to shreds.

There were several in-game battles shown in the trailer. Played out with smooth, detailed models, vibrant spell effects and huge monsters, the game's battles seemed to feature combination attacks on the part of characters and monsters.

Featuring a significant amount of gore, seems aimed at a more mature audience.
