I'm never playing another DMC game again. Bayonetta is better than all 4 DMC games combined, if you want to play a good action game, play Bayonetta, not this garbage. DMC joines Finals Fantasy and the most overrated, overhyped, annoying, and frustrating game series I have ever played. You would think after the first 3 games, they would fix the problems, but nope, DMC4 has all the same problems the other 3 had. Poor sense of direction, ridicously increasing prices for items, cheap bosses, and annoying forced battles. The only thing they improved in 4 was the graphics, that's it. If you didn't like the first 3 DMC games, don't bother with 4.

Just too much it's doing wrong. I hate the back tracking. I hate that you can go back to any spot. I hate that the camera ofter points you into the wrong direction, and you end up getting lost. I hate that the enemies don't even fight back. They just stand there and balance on one leg. I hate that the character never seems to have enough reach to hit his enemies. I hate the controls and recovery frames of the animations. I played up until Mission 10, and decided I'm not gonna try and force myself to enjoy it. It was just completely boring. As bad as NG3 was, I still think it was a far more enjoyable experience. This game came out a long time ago, and this was my first time playing it in 2012, so maybe I have already been spoiled by other games and mechanics. I thought Castlevania Lords of Shadows was a much better game. This was just a very boring game to me.

I liked the characters but the enemies that pop up were not cool enough to even call enemies. The story though was interesting except the body merging thing, I hear that in almost every anime that I watch, I find that weird to the exstint that I have no words for. Its almost old hat that replays over again. But other than that the hardest mission was 13 I can't fingure it out and the walkthroughs don't help at all, I think that they could have done better with the game play and the storyline merges so it was alittle confusing along with the diffaculty levels there was only two, at first I though that devil hunter was Dante's story then I read the peragraph below that it was a diffaculty setting. Either human or Devil hunter its going to be hard. If you are into the DMC thing get it if not don't even bother with the series but the graphics are too great for words so congrats. I still like the capcom company and hope that they make more games with great stories. well thanks for reading and happy gaming from your friend, wolf_gamer.
