Deus Ex disappointment

The game itself would have been great except the fact it was another stupid 1st person shooter. The install time took longer than I could handle playing the game with the terrible view and the second battle I encountered, I could not see the one enemy coming up on the side of me which killed me 5 times in a row due to the terrible camera movement. At that point the game was very stupid. Yes I am an avid 1st person shooter hater, I like to be able to see my character and know when someone or something is sneaking up on me.
