By far the best DS shooter made so far.

Dementium II fixes all the flaws of the first game, then improves on it as a whole. It has a better save system that doesn't restart the chapter every time you die, you can dual-wield the flashlight and one-handed weapons and there is more environment variety than any other DS shooter that I have played so far.
I'd give the graphics a 10/10 for being the best fully 3D graphics that I have yet to see on a DS game. It is also the first DS game that I know of in which the enemies have shadows.
Soundtrack: 9/10 It has the same music from Dementium: The Ward, but with several different variations and many new songs. It sounded incredible all the way through. My only complaint is that the fighting music got repetitive as there was only one track for standard enemy encounters.
Controls: 8/10. This is no fault of Renegade Kid. The DS just isn't the most comfortable system to play a shooter on. Aside from that, the controls are spot on. The best they can be on the DS.
Atmosphere: 10/10. It has a different atmosphere than the original Dementium. It's hard to explain, but I like it. Rent the game and try it for yourself.
Difficulty: 8/10. It has challenging parts, but it isn't as hard as the original, though truthfully, the original had a few parts that were just annoyingly hard.
Overall, I think the game deserves a 10/10 It's worth a rent if not a buy, the survival mode is entertaining, sort of like a DS version of Nach Der Untoten [Gamefly won't let me refer to it by name]. It looks like it will keep me entertained long after I finish the game itself.
