Not terrible, monotonous.

This game has the absolute funniest dialogue I've ever seen in a video game. But how could it not, being Deadpool? The gameplay is simple, and incredibly repetitive. Progress, kill a bunch of bad guys, pick an item up, rinse repeat. I'd rent it for a few days, but certainly wouldn't spend more than 10-15 dollars on it.

Perfect

Almost the perfect game

This is definitely the funniest game I've ever played. I had friends stop playing other games to watch me play this one. There's a constant swirl of jokes, sight gags, innuendo, and gore. The gameplay mechanics were great, the guns were fun and constantly evolving as you used them, and the difficulty level was perfect. I never felt that I had to grind away at this game. It was difficult at points, but difficult in a way I enjoyed.

The only flaw in this otherwise perfect game is the length. I took my time going through the story, and it still only took me about 6 hours. There are some challenges you can go play through, but they're just waves of enemies on levels from the story.

If they have to choose between writing a short, excellent story and a long one that becomes monotonous, I'd pick the short, but man do I wish there was more to this game. Or at least some sort of gimmick to make it replayable.

Excellent

Great Quirky Game

For fans of the X-men universe that are tired of wolverine's antics, this one is really something. Outrageous, in your face humor mixed with great shooter/slasher combat system. The game also 'breaks the fourth wall' by acknowledges the fact that it is a video game, and makes some pretty hilarious commentary on about mechanics of video games in general. A shorter game unless your are going for everything (A definite rent, not a buy). Minus points for some frustrating glitches, and ridiculously hard achievements. Got 'em eventually though!
