Game play is very basic and not hard but what makes the game is the Deadpool commentary. It is very funny from sarcastic jokes to some slightly pervy animation . But overall I enjoyed to the game. Don't take it so seriously and you will have fun .
This game started out very entertaining and very fun. I have no idea what percentage I got through when the difficulty ramped up by 100% and I just got stuck in one section, fighting enemy after enemy. They just wouldn't stop coming and it was way too difficult to get past so I just stopped playing and sent it back.
Deadpool is a solid game. It may not have gotten loads of attention but if you like quirkiness and are into comic book related games then it is worth a play.
Pros- Not to long, not to short, about 7-10 hours of play. Some replay value, depends on if you are trying to obtain all the achievements or not. Graphics are on par with what you expect from the current gen systems. Enemy AI is decent and will give you a nice challenge at certain points in the game even on normal. Also, like that besides the campaign you can fight through waves and receive medals, bronze through gold depending on your time. I also like the ability to upgrade weapons, straight forward and direct. Added an rpg like aspect without making it complicated.
Cons- Some collision problems and can be very glitchy at times. Once or twice I had to reset because I got stuck and no matter what I did could not free myself. I agree with some peoples comments about Deadpool needing to shut up sometimes, his repetitious sayings can become annoying. Not a large variation between enemies, they may look different but attacks are pretty much the same.
Again, overall decent game. Definitely worth a quick rent to rack up some achievements and chalk up another completed game (if you keep count of things like that.)
