What can you say about this game? Ouch. Think I finished the whole game in less then 3 hrs. The game is really short. The story line is a bit weak, but has a nice twist at the end. The graphics aren't bad, there are some nice slow motion executions, but those tend to get old after awhile. The concept of a third person shooter trying to be a first person shooter is a bit hard to swallow. If you enjoy easy to play and quick to finish game, then you'll have fun with this one.

Did you do it? good. You've beaten Dead to Rights: Reckoning. There's no strategy in this game, you just go up to an enemy, press R to lock on, and press X to shoot until he dies. but if you want a more elaborate review:

STORY:
so there's some cop and a dog and they get a letter about a hostage and they must "come alone" to some place. So the main character, whom I'll call Muscles McGee decides it would be a great idea to shoot everyone he sees so he can get to the girl. Honestly, that's it. There's no voice-over at all, and the cut-scenes are all just captions of him saying something along the lines of "this is where things are going down".
-SPOILER-
and in the dumbest shock twist of all time, the hostage is actually killed by you because she's the final boss's daughter.

GAME PLAY:
You can jump like Max Payne and shoot generic people. Just hold X down until the masked minion falls down. The boss fights are like this too. Oh, and there's something about the dog but he never actually did anything in my game. Maybe i was playing it wrong but the dog was there for the first 3 minutes of the game and then never came back. It doesn't last too long either.. the game is like hours tops.

Graphics:
This game is not pretty. A lot of boxes are re-used and there are a total of like, 10 bad guys. Muscles McGee also tends to get his head clipped into the walls. the levels are somewhat varied, although there are about a dozen of those and they're pretty short.

W T F Factors:
other than the story that takes itself really seriously here are some things i just didn't get:

- so the game times you, which made me want to go through the levels fast, which made the game even shorter.

- the camera likes to freak out whenever you're next to a wall, which makes it hard because most of the levels are in a corridor.

-the R button is something you'll press a lot if you get the game, but there's no real science to what it locks onto. It just picks its favorite.
