The games starts off with Zack managing to resurrect his sunken island and once again trick the girls into coming back to the resort for another fourteen day vacation.
As you would expect the graphics are absolutely beautiful. The girls look better than ever and the environments are lush and detailed. The only complaint is the unrealistic breast physics, which isn't all that bad.
The sound is reasonable as most of the music from the first make a return with some new tracks thrown in. Also the girls now speak english, so no more reading subtitles if your not fluent in japanese. The voices are actually pretty good, Helena, Christie, and Tina all have accents from their respective origins, and also does a good job of conveying the girls' attitudes.
Now for the most important part, is it fun? The answer is a resounding yes. With the volleyball and pool hoping game returning as well as the new marine race, think Wave Racer 64, butt battle, tug of war, flag race and slide it's has plenty to keep you occupied. The volleyball has been tweaked some, it's still two on two first to seven, but now you can no longer win by yourself you need a happy partner to dominate. The marine race is also a blast, which is good since you'll probably spend most of your time playing it. You race around the island all the while having to navigate yellow and red buoys to gain turbo to aid you in your quest for victory. The butt battle and tug of war both require you to use the left stick to feint and pull or bump your opponent to win. For the flag race you furiously tap A to run and B to dive for it when your in range. The slide is what it is, you go down a giant slide trying to stay on all the way to the bottom. None of these mini games last long, about ten to twenty seconds each, but they're a nice break from the marine race and volleyball.
If you liked the first you'll love this one, and if you didn't there's enough new content for you to at least check it out.
