Awesome cinematics vs. Terrible control

This game is +#$%! to be fair. the cinematic quality is stunning, except for the hair mechanics. and when all the moves, fighting, counters, and combos fall into place, it's a fantastic fighter... >:(, now to talk ablout the real problem! The control is so terrible, it fools you into thinking that you can actually play, but when you get to harder opponents, you end up hoping for luck than trusting your skills. This game is almost as bad rumble roses xx, but not that bad. Not only that, it freakin messes with your wireless controller's signals. every fight, EVERY FIGHT, my controller disconnects at least once. For those who can master the controls, you deserve a medal! im not kidding. Great and spectacular cinematics vs. against awful control, deceiving gameplay and features that don't even work, yeah, the replay don't doesn't even work. there was no "promised" character customization, except for pre-designed costumes (like that counts). Trust me don't even try this game, i almost broke my controller over the frustrastion! Please listen to me on this, take my word. Try Soul Calibur 4, that kicks (for unavailability of a better word) butt! Let compare the games: story: SC4 wins, gameplay: SC4 wins, cinematics: tied, character customization: SC4 (big time!). All that's left to say is, Dead or Alive 4, >:( -&!$% you!- (insert middle finger here, seriously). Thank you

sequel rises exponentially-in difficulty

Let me say one thing first- DOA3 was my absolutely favorite game on the first xbox. I played that game so much as Hitomi that I would defeat everyone with a perfect(didnt take a single hit) using only 1 button and filling all the top ten spots at the Target kiosk with myself. So you can only imagine how much it pains me to say how horrible this game is. To see my beloved Hitomi bludgeoned to smithereens by everyone she faces. I can't get a punch in edgewise! Eventually I managed to unlock her costumes, but by that time I was so upset I just wanted to throw the controller at the Plasma tv.I didnt though. I just stopped playing this ridiculously hard game. The games ONLY playability is when you go online with human players who fight normally. It's divided by class, so my c class 0.0% can actually choose whether I want to fight an s class opponent. This is still a pain in another way due to the lag. Also,if you join a c class session know that even though you can actually beat these guys, you'll probably also be fighting bigbeefytaco who just likes to stand and flex his muscles not actually throw any punches. The ottom line is this: this game barely deserves the 1=horrible rating. It probably should get a 0.5 because that's about the percentage of the time this games any fun.

Wow. I can't believe people like this game, it by far the worst fighting game I have played since Street Fighter. I actually played one round in the Story mode over and over and over before shutting the Xbox off in disgust. The computer AI blocked or countered every swing I managed to push out, but it was so bad that I couldn't even swing the last round I tried! I applaud anyone who is able to beat this game and put up with this nonsense. The game is horrible unbalanced and there is nothing next-gen about it. Rarely do I rate a game so low, but this game should never have been made. It does not come close to competing with any other fighting game in the last 10 years.
