This game is all about the story, which is fantastically done. The voice acting is pretty good and I found myself drawn into the story (finished the story mode in an afternoon, sort of like watching a long movie). The animations of the characters convey as much about what's going on as the voices do.
The game play is very much an arcade shooter of old. Just shoot anything that isn't you. The story makes up for the lack of player controlled environment interaction.
The two player co-op is fun. While I have lost all interest in playing single player, sitting down with a buddy and just blasting away everything on the impossible skill level makes for a fun time.
Worth the rental. Would have kicked myself if I had purchased the game at full SRP.
This game might be worth a rental if you really love Dead Space. I liked the game on my PS3, but the Wii version just can't compare.
As has been mentioned it is rail based so you don't control movement. The graphics are okay for a Wii, but hard to look at after you play on a PS3 or Xbox 360.
The story seems good. The controls are pretty good. I could have done with a little less swearing as frankly it just got totally unnecessary with the volume of cuss words. I know it is mature, but not every sentence needs someone cursing.
It could be worth a rental, but I see no point in buying the game.
