...you should dislike this one somewhat less. Being no fan of the horror genre in general, and not having liked Dead Space before, I find this one a bit less dislikable. I still think that neither Dead Space nor any other of its ilk even holds a candle to old Doom 3 even today. Still, I find this episode a bit more playable even though I find the game still clunky and uninspiring. Nothing in the game so far - having finished the first 4 chapters so far - is particularly novel, interesting, or unique. We've seen it all before. Just barely worth a rental to me.

This game was very interesting. I gave it a 9 out of 10. my experience with all 3 of titles are the same idea. they are a great survival horror game focusing on survival having nothing and just trying to live, however this last title was focused more on attack. It still had the same game play the same over the shoulder feel but the story felt different. Him wanting to get away from the markers changed to him wanting to end the epidemic. I loved how Issak turned into this driven man who wanted to kill the marker uprisings instead of escape them. the game play was great, just like the other 2 as well as a few enhancements. Being able to make your own weapon as well as having 2 weapons on one rifle was in-genius. The co-op was incredible. i hope that the developers don't stop with Dead Space and move on with another exciting title. i would have like to have seen more melee with Isaak, and more surprise with the necromorphs. like being caught more off guard i did however love the ending. all in all an amazing game.
