The game is typical Dead Space, and I like it for that. However, then ending really left me wanting (though not as bad as Mass Effect 3) more story and meaningful ending. Still - the mechanics were all there, gameplay was solid and puzzles interesting - but not very challenging. It was nowhere near as scary as the first game, or even the seconds game, but I guess that's a touch act to follow. Overall, still loved the game, but it won't get a second playthrough for me. But I am not a hardcore gamer, either, that wants every achievement out of every game. Not a co-op fan, but can see where it would be enjoyable for those that are.

Dead Space 1 was amazing and fresh. DS2 was a lot of fun, but very little changed. i was hesitant with DS3 but really wanted to keep the story line going more than anything else and was just blown away! after finishing the mass effect series, ive been very critical of the dynamic of games as M.E. really sets the bar. (although Borderlands series does a great job on its own level). All this to say DS3 was shockingly fantastic! EA took their Mass Effect concept and laid it over top of DS3 and it felt great. instead of being just locked up in a space craft like ds1 and ds2, you have a whole new series of zones: earth, open space, multiple spaceships, new open planet, underground zones, alien city.... very cool. and very much addicting. i seriously could not put the control down. the whole weapon and upgrades has a nice custom feel to it which really let me feel more of a bad mo fo when im mixing and matching parts.
the story line in this one was great uptil the end, it felt like indiana jones 4 and promethious endings where they just kind of confuse u with alien background but i really didnt care b/c the ride was such a blast.
hope u enjoy it as much as i did and thanks for reading my review
