I am a fan of the first 2 Dead Space games and was hoping for another hit. This game didnt have many scares like the others, it was more action. It reminded me of how the Resident Evil games changed over to action games.
Graphics are nice and overall its not a bad game. The thing that bothered me the most was all the back and forth missions. A lot of retracing your steps that got boring.

Good renting. 17 hours without playing the end. Really fun to think about and puzzles and the fighting slow at first caught me into a bigger expo. Big action and of course the features were soplid enough to pull me out of the space binds I was in.

Dead Space 3 is very good game that will bring you many hours of fun. If you've played the first two, especially the first, you know that Dead Space can be extremely scary and intense. This game lacks just that. It's still a good game and I had fun with it, but was a bit disappointed. I found myself hardly getting scared, and that has everything to do with the fact that most of the game is spent in more openly lit areas instead of dark and tight. The aspect that would usually freak me out the most is the fact that you can dismember the enemy's limbs and they'd still pursue to kill you. I loved the fact that you could use these powerful weapons to blow off their limbs instantly. This is game doesn't really keep the same consistency as the first two. You'll find yourself dealing with moments where there are an unnecessary amount of enemies coming at you. It's so much more difficult to dismember their limbs and it cause them to stay alive much longer. Now, you're probably thinking, "Oh! Well they've just added more of a difficult challenge", and the truth is that it doesn't make it more difficult. You'll find yourself extremely annoyed at the fact that you just show an enemy in the legs with a plasma cutter about 10 times and he's still walking. So, besides these minor annoyances, the games is pretty solid. Much longer than the first two, but nowhere near as good as them.
