I own Dead Space 1&2, and was psyched about the release of 3. The ability to craft my own weapons? Awesome! But then I played it. Start to finish, it took me about 20 hours to complete the main story, and all single player quests. The graphics are beautiful, and the landscapes are breathtaking in the later half of the game. The controls are as tight as ever, but the weapons feel mushy and underpowered, even with the upgrade circuits. There just isn't that same feeling of impending doom from the first games. The plot is supposed to answer a lot of questions from the series, and that it does, but the characters are kind of silly while they faff about and contribute nothing. I would recommend this if you like action games like Uncharted, but I can't get my head around the loss of the "survival horror" game it could have been.

This is by far the best Dead Space game yet it delivers on every level great story awesome graphics and epic game play, I really didn't have any complaints about the game except for it's so addicting I beat it in 3 days and put 13 hours into it and that's with the side missions which were also awesome and the rewards for doing the side missions are parts you need to make guns and upgrade your suit and let me tell you there are some FN awesome guns you can build you can either make some from blue prints or create your own, bottom line a 10/10 game! There are some other things I would like to say but don't want to spoil anything bottom line put it in your Q.
