The first Dead space blew my mind. The gruesome death scenes and the constant feeling of isolation make these 2 games the definition of TRUE survival horror. I Never expected to play through a game like this more than once, but the ridiculous addicting nature of these games caused me to molest my ps3 with five playthroughs of both games.
I was afraid that the fact that Isaac was now on a highly- populated space station that it was going to take away from the feeling of being alone and afraid. I was wrong. Pretty much the only survivors you are going to see are the ones crying without a body below their waist or the ones willingly getting butchered by a necro. No game makes me more disturbed than this one.
The controls in this game are basically identical to the original, which is good. They make me feel like the creaters of resident evil 5 were stoned and stupid when they made the controls to their game. Maybe asians actually can't move and fire weapons at the same time idk.
The only reason that I give this game a 9/10 is that, for some reason, Viscreal thought it would be a good idea for Isaac to make a few puns towards the end of the game. I don't want to hear Isaac make stupid comments, I just want to hear him scream. They also made it so the multiplayer requires a seperate EA account.
This game has one of the best storylines and gameplay mechanics I have ever been exposed to. Somehow Viscreal also created multiplayer that is very entertaining (playing as necromorphs).
Get on this.
