Let me first begin by stating I am a Dead Rising fan boy. Loved the first with my boy Frank West and highly recommend it to those new to the game prior to picking up this most recent addition. Now to make this quick I'll sum up my experience in a few brief sentences.
Dying over and over again only to restart and spend the next 15 minutes running across zombie covered areas until you get to a person to save. Then in order to save the person you have to run the entire way back keeping up a fast pace in order to have as much time as possible to rinse and repeat. The weapons are awesome as well and highly worth looking into, but again you are under such critical time managment it becomes impossible to investigate your surroundings allowing you the chance to start mixing and matching items.
In the end I stopped half way through the game and returned it. I loved my time with the game and I loved the mutliplayer concept...but in the wake of a new release while playing, this game could not keep my attention and today, back it goes. The game should engage you...not work hard to put you off. I hope you enjoyed and found this review helpful and interesting.
