Dead Rising 2 for Xbox 360 Reviews by Gamers

The game overall feels like a remake of the first one. Same motions and same overall layout makes it feel like the first game only made larger. You'd thought the developers would put more into to it to really make it feel like a totally new game especially since they had 4 yrs to do it. The best part of the game is the combo weapons and trying all the different outfits, but even that loses fun due to the time limit. After playing this one for awhile I remember why I didn't finish the first game. I really enjoyed Case Zero so that's why I wanted this game, but I think the DLC was better then the full version. The controls can be clunky at times and the graphics are okay, but the loading in this game is too often and too long. Overall after putting in around 10 hrs I already feel like I kept doing the same thing over and over. If you really liked the first game you'll like this one as well. I give it a rental if you are bored. If you want good zombie games get the Left 4 Dead series or Resident Evil 5.
