Dead or Alive 3 was a great step up from the prior installments. The various costumes to unlock on top of the various characters to unlock will leave you playing this game for hours.
I won't lie to you though. While you can breeze through the game for the most part, the main guy will cheat you out of wins left and right. Thank goodness for unlimited continues.

I was really a big fan of the Tekken series on the PlayStation, but I decided to go the Microsoft Xbox route for the next generation of gaming because of the better hardware and the fact that Microsoft was supposed to have more pull in the gaming market because of it's company size. So I was sad to not be able to play that series.
In comes Dead or Alive, the closet match. It was surprisingly very similiar, but of course you need to learn a completely new set of moves. I just didn't have the patience. I did like the scenery of levels and how they have multiple levels if you get knocked off.
Honestly I'm not much of a fan of these types of fighting games anymore, but this is a decent game.
