Dead Head Fred for PSP Reviews by Gamers

I put this game down after the first level because I was turned off by the poor graphic quality and nebulous objectives. But then I came back to it and became more and more interested the more I played. It's true that the battle system is less than ideal and the side missions can get tedious but a lot of soulful creativity went into this game--the score and voice over is truly amusing and there are lots of little ways to have fun outside of the main story line. Cockfighting anyone? I actually kind of miss my roosters, Kingsley, Beaky and McNugget... An underrated deal--I've only ever seen it at the bottom of a bargain bin, so why not?

Load times. Theres too many of them, enough to make the game last longer than it normaly is. I'm serious, theres enough loading to drive impatient people like me to hurl the PSP with the UMD in it out the window and to deter any future playthroughs with this game. Combat can be tedious and tiresome. The dialogue can be over-excessive with curse words and forced. You'll never upgrade all of the heads in this game except the jar head. The side missions are boring, repetitious and lackluster.
