Movie Description
Mankind is up against the most devastating enemy we've ever faced: Mother Nature! Global warming brings about a sudden climate change. Tornadoes ravage Los Angeles. A new ice age engulfs New York. Hurricanes, tidal waves, and other dangerous events are wreaking havoc around the world. The whole northern half of the planet is on its way to becoming frozen solid. In the midst of all this, climatologist Jack Hall (Dennis Quaid) tries to find his son Sam (Jake Gyllenhaal), who was in New York when the ice hit. The Halls band together with a group of fellow survivors to try and withstand the storm in this effects-filled survival saga from the director of Independence Day.
