The first game was one of my all time games I loved way more than I thought I would (if that's a thing), and so I was really looking forward to the sequel, and, I've not been disappointed. I did find the combat cumbersome (way too many buttons to press), so I switched to easy (the puzzles are more interesting to me than the combat), and have been making solid progress.
The game is huge. I thought I finished it, only to discover I was only about a third of the way through!
General consensus is that these games are Zelda rip offs, however I feel this one, even more so than the first one, is more Tomb Raider-esque (when Tomb Raider was a good thing).
Only real complaints are that the leveling up menu system is unwieldy, and slightly slow to respond, which does take you out of the game somewhat. Also limiting the number of health pods you can carry is unfair, especially when you can carry so much of everything else. I did find myself having to back track to shops to buy health mid-battles a couple of times.
Highly recommended, but make sure you have the time to work through it.
The combat and exploration of this game are very good. I enjoyed the mixture of wall running, fighting, and puzzles. But this game has several issues that should have been fixed before the game was released. The game has completely frozen up so I had to restart the system 4 times now. The camera can be a huge problem, particularly in close combat with large enemies. You often can't see Death or the enemy you are fighting. At times the audio would stop. With a couple more months this game could have been much better. It's still an enjoyable game and I would recommend it, but at times it can be very frustrating.
