This game is frigin AWESOME the only thing i didn't like was the ending couldve showed more then him just jumping an it reseting what happened with War. I hope they make a Darksiders 3 dont make this the last one no way you could do that if you do i will never support Vigil again this game is a MUST keep the horseman seperate dont do a darksiders 3 with strife an fury together each one need their own story but if you do it better be just as good cuz yall KILLED it with this game SO MUCH BETTER THEN THE FIRST

Fair

Overrated, but not horrible.

Never played the first Darksiders game, so I didnt know what to expect. Good game at first, God Of War-style hack 'n slash with experience and hit point system similar to Borderlands. Then the puzzles came in and drowned out the fun for me. They aren't difficult, which is part of the problem, but time-consuming. It seems like you get a few minutes worth of fun combat, preceded and followed by numerous, redundant, filler puzzles. Graphics and sound are nothing to write home about, and the goofy camera angles often hinder more than help. Also, the silly story and cliche character/location names make me think of something from a bad Dragonforce song...Not a bad title to rent if you're killing time waiting for a better game, but certainly not deserving of it's current 8.8 rating.

All of the critics whining about how Darksiders has so many awesome elements but fails to join them correctly need to pipe down. This game is amazing. Like it's predecessor Darksiders, this game delivers. It's even longer now and you can roam about quite a but. The hack and slash combat is great and the puzzles really add that Zelda element to the game. The story line is epic as well. I cannot wait for Darksiders 3 & 4!
