So for people who have played the first Darksiders, the combat style is very similar in this one. So you will get use to the controls fast and for the people who hated the level, "The black throne" in darksiders.... Not to worry! This one has puzzles but it's not as bad that one. Things have gotten a bit simpler but still challenging. Death is a lot more different then War. He's more agile then War, so you'll be climbing walls and sliding everywhere like mega-man. (It's easy though)
I RECOMMEND ALL TO TRY THIS GAME, ITS NOT STRAIGHT HACK AND SLASH!

Between the puzzles and the combat, the game isn't bad but overall I wouldn't say this game is great, good, but not great. I wouldn't buy this game, renting it was good enough. You can't gaurd, but you can dodge, which most of the time isn't that helpful. You can only carry 5 health/magic potions each which is ok but they are very scarce and you will be using those health potions A LOT.......trust me.
Thanks to THQ's auto-save and overwriting your saved game and a butt load of game breaking bugs I restarted this game from the beginning 3 times and after the last bug I just gave up. I haven't yet mentioned the minor irritation of the game freezing and the only fix is too turn off the XBox and reload.
