Okay just for clarity, i go with a pros and cons list with my reviews so lets kick things off with the good.

-Pros
1) Excellent protagonist
2) Beautiful World and colorful graphics
3) Great voice actors and sound effects
4) Combat system improved
5) Nice level system and stat system
6) Amazing weapons and Armor
7) Unique Possessed weapon system
8) Great DLC

-Cons
1) Tedious side quests
2) Pointless experience boost
3) Low potions limit
4) Lacking story clarity

Personal input and summery: As you can see the pros outweigh the cons and that is just the eight i could name off from the top of my head. Darksiders 2 is a true sequel to the first. The game world is stunning; i found myself just standing and staring for hours. I loved death being the protagonist; there is no one better fit. The voice actors truly felt like they belong to their character roles which is rare. Sound effect are tried and true and fit perfectly. The weapons are better and improved; speaking of weapons, you will loved Darksiders 2 possessed weapons.....but i won't go in detail about those....you will have to play and find out yourself. There aren't many cons in my opinion and overall they don't take much away from the gaming experience. I just wish the toned down on collective side quests....they take a lot of time away from the main story...which dampens the experience. But overall i give this game a 9 out of 10. I completely recommend you rent and or buy this game!!!!

I only played for 3 hours or so. Combat wasn't special. I didn't care for the art style and what I saw of the story was standard video game fare (i.e. childish). I would have let it all slide 6 years ago.
Yawn. Shoot me. Send it away.

The controls are easy to pick up on and fighting is easy yet satisfying. Fighting is repetitive but with the ability to level up and the beauty of the fight you well not tire of the battles but rather look forward to them. In between fights you can find lots of hidden loot that you just have to figure out how to get to. You can spend lots of time just trying to clear an area. All in all its not my type of game but if your just looking for something to breeze through with out much thinking and cause the beautiful destruction of your enemies and their surroundings then this will be a nice game to occupy your time.
