Dark Souls for PlayStation 3 Reviews by Gamers

I know this is suppose to be difficult, or hardcore.. but I see it more as stupidly unfair than it is difficult. Clunky controls, bad camera angels, no clear goals, no clear objectives.... Not to mention that if you die (and you will) you have to redo all the fighting you just did up to and including the thing that just killed you, since everything respawns. Sometimes that can be a lot of content due to the horribly spaced checkpoints (bonfires). I'm sorry, but I dont like playing through 1 map 20 times doing just a little better each time.

Some people might like games like this, but not me. There are far better games on the PS3 in my opinion. This was worth a rental, but I had it back in the mail the next day.

Kind of a game you will love it are hate it. Dark souls has its moments. Boss fights are awsome weapons are very cool. But its to darn hard period with the lack of save points- its at the point of just crazy'' You will be going over the same path many times killing the same guys many times over and over to get pass one boss. The wolf boss i was there for about 2hrs. Is this Fun?? sometimes Yes but other times you want to just put the game on ebay. I would say Rent it frist. Good luck
