Dark Souls for PlayStation 3 Reviews by Gamers

I played Demon souls and although frustrating I finished it. Now Dark souls is even more frustrating than Demon souls and the developers keep putting patches on it to make it harder. I admit I'm a glut for punishment, but enough is enough. If you want a challenging game this is most certainly for you. It also had great graphics and nice RPG elements. However, the developers don't want you to have a easy time playing it. I figure if I'm gonna get this frustrated by a game its time to send it back to gamefly.

This game is increadibly conveluted. The character creation is completely watered down, very basic. The first level took me almost 2 hours and died over 100 times. I find it incredibly insulting that a game developer would make a game that the first level includes a boss that can not be beaten until youve leveled up when you can not. The controls are very clunky and uncomfortable. Attacks and blocks do not work as they should. Abilities are not clearly explaind in the tutroial and do not match the character type you choose. A sorcerer should not be weilding a sword and shield. All in all this game is not worth even renting from a source that doesnt charge late fees. Complete fail and insulting game. If i could rate this game truly, it would have a negative score and the developer would become bankrupt so that they can not poison the game market again.
