Dark Souls

Most people that have reviewed this game will laud it's:great graphics(despite some framerate drops), solid controls and it's difficulty(which imo has been greatly exaggerated. It's difficult in a way most RPGs are. Once you level up and learn the patterns you'll be fine:). The best thing about Dark Souls is that YOU GET YOUR MONEY'S WORTH.

Often games end in about 10hrs leaving you wanting more. Especially if it's good. My 1st playthrough took me 120 hrs. I played it 20 days straight from the release date. If you're a sane person(unlike myself lol) this game could last you for months.

If you are a gamer on a tight budget. This is a great buy even though it will cost you the same as most Triple A titles. The difference here is you will get your money's worth.

Dark Souls Review

Dark Souls is the hardest game I have ever played. Period. Death is part of the game. This game is not for people who like to walk into a place guns blazin. You have to use strategy and learning from mistakes. Despite my failure to complete the game, Dark Souls is an awesome game and I definitely recommend at least trying it.

Pros:
- Amazing Graphics
- Realistic Gameplay
- Awesome Enemies

Cons:
- Extremely Difficult
- Health depletes too quickly
- Leveling up does not seem to help in some areas that were difficult

After spending hours in what I would consider the "tutorial area," I finally get to enter the world that is Dark Souls. It was only then that I understood why this game got so many high marks from so many trusted gaming reviewers. The leveling system is simple yet complex, and the combat is put together very well. The atmosphere is stunning, ranging from claustrophobic dungeons to standing in the middle of what seems like a castle for giants. Even 45+ hours in, I feel like there's so much I haven't even seen yet. And the best part of that is, that I'm right. Just a quick note: this is definitely NOT a game for the average/casual gamer. Those going into it need to know that dying will be something you need to get used to(and fast), and the difficulty level is by far the most unforgiving I've played in a video game to date. But if you are willing to give up some of your sanity to get into this game, I can honestly say you will not be disappointed. Not even close.
