The game in my view is for people that like bad relationships it'll treat you like !#$%& and just when your about to give up gives you a little joy and then the next stage again do it about a million time and finally get it right and on top of it all half of the time you have no clue were to go. I am sure that everyone that beat these game had to use a walkthru eather ing or the official book for the game . I got about half way may character is at lever 70 and after all you just need a high level character and the game is easy . In my opinion that is NOT briliant at all you need no other strategy than if your character is not at 70 jet well kill the same bad guy again and again and again>......... and now at 70 ok go and thats the game

Excellent

Excellent Challenging game

Dark souls is a very challenging, yet very fun game. The setting is dark and fantastic, very a simple but compelling story. The game is full of side paths and alternate adventures which lead to amazing treasure and many hours of gameplay. It uses hidden paths and breakaway walls very effectively. The enemies are difficult, and any wrong move can lead to a quick death. However, as the player gains levels, fantastic armor and weapons, and learns how each enemy fights, the enemies become easier, while giving the player a sense of accomplishment. It really makes you feel accountable and careful in your actions, as mistakes can lead to a loss of experience and a restart of the area. On top of that, any trip to the bonfire to restore potions, level up, or find a good save point respawns all the enemies in the area. Add the fact that you use one pool of "souls" to increase stats, upgrade weapons, and buy items, and it creates one very challenging game, where everything must be thought through. But the fighting system is easy to learn and control, magic is powerful but balanced in the amount useable, and there are many amazing items, weapons, and spells that keep the gameplay fun. The online play makes it very fun making it similar to an MMORPG, but allowing only small help from messages and aiding phantoms to fight bosses, and difficult challenge when another player invades your world. It's a very clever way to allow the immersion, story, and personalized gameplay to combine with MMORPG co-op style gameplay. All in all, a great game.
