This game is like nothing I've ever played before and I loved every minute of it. The sense of accomplishment and progression kept me coming back for more. The beggining can be quite unforgivingly difficult, but with enough practice you can easily become a pro. If you dont care about spoilers I'd highly recommend using a guide as the amount of content this game has to offer is almost impossible to uncover all by yourself.

I was told this game was extremely hard to beat. I rented it for myself and WOW, it has a great storyline, pretty good control, and a lot of stuff to choose from, like classes, weapons, armor, items, magic and shields. VERY nice graphics and many different areas to explore.
But be warned, they called the PC version 'Prepare to Die' for a reason.
You will die over and over and over and over. But you will eventually emerge victorious and feel accomplished.

This game is wonderful. It's challenging. The world is immersive. The combat is flawless. The boss fights are difficult. The equipment menu is set up perfectly, making it easy to access the items you need on a moments notice. The graphics make a dark, gloomy, depressing world, beautiful in it's own way.
However I do have a few gripes. The fact that it throws you into the game with absolutely no direction makes the game feel impossible without a walkthrough. (Unless you're online while playing, which gives you access to messages left by other players) The starting gear is near worthless, making it difficult to play without looking up how to get better gear.
Overall the game is amazing. It has excellent replay ability, due to the versatile combat system that lets you fight how YOU want to fight, and also due to the tons of different weapon types, as well as different class types.
10/10 easily. I'm not taking anything away because of the lack of direction, because I know the devs meant for direction to be the players job to provide, which only adds to the game.
