It'll Give God of War a Run For It's Money

This is by far one of the best games released this year. With beautiful graphics, solid game play and an extremely in depth story that pulls you in so much so, that you won't want to put down the controller. Not to say this game is perfect though, it suffers from some minor if not annoying aspects. Such as the camera, it moves by itself. Just like in God of War you can't control the camera, the game only let's you see what it wants you to. For some it doesn't matter, but I personally like to move it myself. It's not necessary a bad thing, but it's sometimes hard to see an enemy right behind you in the distance, the only sure fire way to kill them is to fire non-stop Holy Crosses at them and hope you get lucky. Another annoying aspect about the game is the fact that it’s pretty hard, even on the normal difficulty setting. And I don't mean unbeatable hard, but way harder than I expected it to be on the default normal setting. Now I'm not the best player in the world or the worst for that matter, but I easily beat God of War 1 and 2 on the normal difficulty with no problem. But I had to play Dante's Inferno on casual because the game on normal wasn't going to happen (at least not on the first run through). I would say the normal difficulty in Dante's Inferno is equivalent to the hard difficulty in God of War. Those really are the only bad things that I came across when playing the game. So on to the good things.
This game comes equipped with a lot of attacks. Being with the scythe or with magic, there’s something for everyone. There are 4 different magic attacks (I won’t go into detail, because it’ll ruin it for you) and countless scythe attack combinations. It’ll be a while before you grow bored of the attacks, because there all but repetitive.
The game does a great job of giving you that feel of being in Heck. From the creatures you fight to the boss battles and the overall scenery. Yes this game is definitely worth renting if not buying. A solid 9 out of 10.
